Lauren A. Miceli, Esq. receives the 2018 Martin S. Goldin Family Law Award

In February 2003, the Family Law Section established the Martin S. Goldin Family Law Award, to be presented each year to a Family Law Practitioner who has been engaged in the practice for 15 years or less and who exemplifies those principles by which Marty practices family law, including: maintaining a continuous study of past and present case law; making a careful and detailed analysis of each case; presenting the issues and applicable law to clients in a readily understandable manner; attempting to settle issues on a fair and reasonable basis before resorting to litigation; fostering respect and courtesy for the bench and bar; maintaining high standards of integrity and professionalism, and exhibiting leadership in the County or State Bar Association.

Lauren A. Miceli, Esq. epitomizes the qualities in a lawyer that were especially important to Marty, and incorporates them into her daily practice. She is thoughtful to and diligent in assessing all issues in each of her cases. Open to learning different approaches to the resolution of those issues, she actively seeks legal discussion with other attorneys regarding their cases and her own. Lauren does not hesitate to seek help in her legal work and in her professional activities. She gives every project her all, but she is quick to stop and make time for a colleague who wants to discuss some aspect of a case or procedure. Lauren is professional in her work and in her relationships with judges, court staff and other attorneys.

Shane and White, LLC congratulates Ms. Miceli on her achievement!
