Per the Supreme Court Order dated April 24, 2020, Municipal Courts are to reopen.  Specifically, the Court’s Order indicated that as of Monday, April 27, 2020, with the consent of both parties, municipal Court appearances may be conducted with the consent of all parties.  These sessions are to be conducted only via telephone and/or video conferencing.  Effective

The Supreme Court of New Jersey has issued a number of Orders regarding the courts’ operations, including what matters will continue to be heard, albeit remotely, those that are postponed, as well as those emergent matters, which require immediate attention.  The most recent Order can be found here: https://www.njcourts.gov/notices/2020/n200327a.pdf.  The Court is putting all of the below measures into effect
